Beryllium is a metal that is best used in optical and other low weight, high strength, high rigidity applications.
Furthermore, it is a very good heat conductor.
SWSTech offers special processes for machinery and surface treatment of Beryllium and its alloys.
The work is carried out on our 5-axis mill-turn machines. In order to get best accuracy of the components we work
in an air conditioned workshop.
Beryllium is a toxic metal and therefore requires special processes and safety measures when handling this material.
All our Beryllium processes are approved by Swiss authorities for total compliance with the respective QESH directives.
